If you’re an NFL fantasy nerd, you’re well-versed in the concepts of rookies and dynasties. Unlike the conventional format, where you would pick a new team every season, in this fantasy format you draft players and keep them on your team. The dynasty format requires GMs to think strategically, and this year will be no different. Every year, new rookies are added.
Here are the top 10 rookies that teams selected in the 2022 NFL Draft that have the potential to have an immediate impact in your dynasty league.
Breece Hall and Michael Carter, a back in his second year, might split the carries. There is a case to be made for him to be the best rookie dynasty player in 2022, though. The Jets’ high opinion of the Iowa State alums is evident by the fact that they traded up to acquire him despite Carter’s presence. Select him early and with confidence despite being on a committee.
Many people view Drake London as the team’s top wide receiver going into his rookie season with the Atlanta Falcons, particularly in light of Calvin Ridley’s suspension. He will only have tight end Kyle Pitts to contend with for targets because Pitts can play in the slot or on the outside.
Since the Titans released AJ Brown and Julio Jones during the offseason, Treylon Burks will also start from the beginning.
Jameson Williams was widely considered to be the best wide receiver available in the 2022 NFL Draft, but an ACL tear near the end of his collegiate career hurt his draft prospects. Williams is still a fantastic dynasty investment, even if he doesn’t play much in his rookie season, especially if the Lions select a franchise quarterback in the 2023 draft.
Garrett Wilson will probably play in 2022, but Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Garrett Wilson are vying for the same number of reps. Given that Zach Wilson’s injury forced him to miss the entire 2022 season, Joe Flacco will be the team’s quarterback going forward.
