Almost certainly going with the first overall pick, Wembanyama is the most exciting NBA prospect since LeBron James. Number one overall pick in this year’s draft.

The seven-foot-tall star for the Metropolitans 92 has stunned the basketball world with his silky ball control, incredible quickness, and uncanny shooting ability.

NBA scouts have been concerned about the Le Chesnay native’s weight, which was reported to be between 220-230 pounds in 2017.

Nonetheless, during the 2022-23 LNB season, the arena appears to have expanded.

Wembanyama has posted some photos of himself on Instagram flexing his muscles.

The Frenchman may have a trim build, but his well-defined physique is undeniably impressive.

Thin arms, but I’ve got big dreams,” he wrote as the caption for the Instagram story.

Wembanyama is four inches taller than Shaquille O’Neal when both men are wearing shoes of equal height.

And he might not be done growing yet.

The big man is having a breakout season, leading the Metropolitans in scoring with 21.7 points per game while also pulling down 9.3 boards per contest and dishing out 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, and 3.2 blocks per game.

Despite a drop in his 3-point percentage to below 30%, he is shooting a career-best 47.6% from the field.

When you consider Wembanyama’s stature and overall shot volume, that’s still an outstanding result.

This season, the center is averaging 5.4 three-point shots per game in the French league.
