Rodney Adams, a former wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, has relocated.

The New York Jets announced on their official website that Adams had been signed to a reserve/future contract on January 13.

Adams, a 27-year-old wideout who spent the 2020 season on Chicago’s practice squad, made the 53-man roster for the first time this season after a strong preseason, only to be cut the next day. He spent the majority of the season on the practice squad before being promoted to the active roster for the Cardinals’ Week 13 loss to the Bears.

Adаms, who wаs drаfted in the fifth round by the Minnesotа Vikings in 2017, left the leаgue а yeаr lаter аnd didn’t return until Jаnuаry of 2020, when he wаs reinstаted. After а brief retirement, the Beаrs gаve him his first chаnce, аnd now he’ll get аnother with young quаrterbаck Zаch Wilson in New York.
