In a statement to People on Tuesday, November 22, the Chrisley family’s lawyer, Alex Little, said, “Yesterday was a difficult day for the Chrisley family.” But Todd and Julie are devout Christians, and their faith gives them courage as they defend their beliefs in court.

On Monday, November 21, Todd, 53, was given a 12-year prison term while his wife, 49, received a seven-year sentence. After being charged with 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy in 2019, the pair was also sentenced to 16 months of probation.

After a month-long trial, the USA Network personalities were found guilty of all charges in June. Peter Tarantino, the reality stars’ accountant, was also found guilty by the court and received a 36-month prison term on Monday.
