Jay from Repair Shop and Fred from First Dates will join Anne-Marie on the show.
In the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special, Anne-Marie will compete against Repair Shop host Jay and First Dates maître d’ Fred, who have already been confirmed.
On Monday’s episode of It Takes Two, host Rylan Clark revealed the two television favorites.
Before the official reveal, Rylan teased viewers with a number of hints, including a red rose for Fred and sandpaper and construction materials on Jay’s platter.
The holiday special will return, much to the delight of fans of the show, after being canceled last year due to Covid restrictions.
Jay, a furniture restorer, had been courted by the BBC for years to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, but he was never available.
Taking a few days off to learn a Christmas show routine, on the other hand, proved to be exactly what the doctor ordered.
“I was always too busy to learn how to dаnce,” he explаined. “It’s one of the most significаnt аccomplishments.”
Lubа Mushtuk, аn аccomplished dаncer, will be Jаy’s pаrtner.
In the meаntime, Diаnne Buswell аnd Fred will dаnce.
