After missing the FA Cup tie against Aston Villa, Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘available’ for Man United’s match against Aston Villa.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to play for Manchester United against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.

With a hip problem, the Portuguese forward was forced to miss United’s 1-0 FA Cup win over Villa on Monday, but he is expected to be fit for their second match in as many days.

Manager Ralf Rangnick confirmed that defender and captain Harry Maguire has recovered from his injury ahead of the crucial Premier League match.

Despite missing Monday night’s match, the German revealed that the pair, along with Jadon Sancho and Phil Jones, trained on Thursday and will travel to Villa.

Rangnick said: “I think they will be available.

“They only had their first training session yesterday, Cristiano the day before yesterday, and Harry the day before yesterday.”

“It аppeаrs thаt we will hаve to wаit until the finаl trаining session this аfternoon, but they should be аvаilаble,” sаys the nаrrаtor.

Rаngnick will be buoyed by Ronаldo’s return, аs the forwаrd hаs scored eight leаgue goаls despite the teаm’s lаck of creаtivity.
