On January 23, in Salisbury Crown Court, Wiltshire, the asylum seeker was found guilty of murdering the 21-year-old victim.

On January 25, he was given a life sentence with a minimum of 29 years at the same court.

According to information obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, he was given £39,776 in legal aid to argue that he was innocent of stabbing Thomas to death.

A lawyer’s fee at trial and a lawyer’s fee for previous interviews with the police were paid for with the cash.

Quote from an anonymous source: “He was mocking the authority of the law.

It’s been said of him, “He killed two people before he came illegally to Britain, and then he killed another here and got a huge sum of taxpayers’ money to defend himself.”

Abdulrahimzai was born in Afghanistan in 2001.

At the age of 14, in 2015, he began crossing international borders without permission.

Starting in Pakistan and Iran, he later traveled through Norway, Italy, and Serbia.

In 2018, the immigrant killed two Afghan men outside of a refugee camp by a gas station with a Kalashnikov rifle.

As he was away at the time of the crime, a Serbian court convicted him of two counts of murder and sentenced him to 20 years in prison.

Abdulrahimzai attempted to seek asylum in Norway a year later, but his application was denied.

He made an unauthorized trip to the UK in December of 2019, claiming to be a 14-year-old orphan whose parents were killed by the Taliban.

Poole, Dorset, became his new home after he was placed in foster care there.

On March 12 of last year, he had an argument with Thomas Roberts’ friend, James Medway, over an electric scooter.

Tom, an aspiring member of the Royal Marines, intervened in the fight and was subsequently stabbed by Abdulrahimzai in the heart and stomach.
