After 18 months in charge at Selhurst Park, Arsenal legend Vieira was fired by Palace just two days earlier.

After losing to Arsenal, Palace is now in 12th place, only three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League.

There have been rumors that Roy Hodgson could make a surprise comeback as manager until the end of the season.

In the meantime, Vieira has been linked to the open position with the U.S. national team.
