After the March Madness upset that saw Purdue lose to FDU, basketball fans were said to be “losing their minds with zero perfect brackets left.”

Farleigh Dickinson University, a No. 16 seed, stunned No. 1 Purdue University with a 63-58 victory, one of the biggest upsets in NCAA history.

There has never been a 16-seed to win a men’s tournament game before the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights did it.

Many people’s March Madness brackets have been completely destroyed.

“Purdue lost to a team who didn’t win their own conference…,” one fan tweeted.

“I knew Purdue would lose, but I never expected them to lose first round,” wrote another shocked supporter.

However, there are spectators who look forward to the tournament’s inherent tension.

IT HAS OCCURRED ONCE MORE!!!! An upset by a No. 16 seed over a No. 1! It’s FDU all the way! “Gotta love March!” exclaimed a second ardent tweeter.
