After the Three Lions thrash Iran, England ticket prices soar to £2,500 each.

Due to England’s 6-2 thrashing of Iran during the World Cup, match tickets are now selling for as much as £2,500 each online.

For tickets to the Three Lions’ upcoming Group B games, touts are currently asking for up to 50 times the original sale price.

Although the resale ticket website Ticombo claims to have 500 tickets for England’s matches against the United States and Wales, there is no assurance that supporters who purchase tickets from touts will be admitted.

Before requesting a visa to enter Qatar, fans must present the ticket application number they receive when purchasing through the official Fifa website.

Fans who purchase tickets from online touts may not be able to obtain the code.

Before the tournament, Fifa claims it received 23 million applications for three million spots, with group stage seats selling out months in advance.

“Seats for the next England game have become the hottest ticket in town overnight,” a Qatar 22 source claimed.
