As a Stephen A. As Molly Qerim makes a bold on-air claim, Smith sighs and says, “that’s not true, that is a lie.”

Presenters on FIRST Take, led by Stephen A. Neither Smith nor Molly Qerim held back when criticizing the other’s fantasy sports performance.

The two decided to make a bet on the outcome of the ESPN Tournament Challenge bracket for March Madness.

55-year-old Smith claimed Qerim will "cheat"

Qerim, who boasted, “I always get it better than him,” exemplifies self-assurance. Unfortunately, most people are unaware of this.

That is not true,” Smith said emphatically. That is not the case.

It’s a simple agreement: “Whoever’s bracket gets busted first has to buy the other person a pair of shoes,” as stated by Qerim.

They did agree to place the wager, but Smith insisted on getting in a few personal jabs at Qerim.

He said to their coach, Seth Greenberg, “I’ll do it, but I want the world to know: Molly cheats.

At all times. She cheated in fantasy football, so you can bet she’ll do it here, too.

“Because what she’s going to do coach is she’s going to reach out to you coach and Jay Bilas and everybody and she’s going to make her pick by pick by pick,” the coach explained.

“That’s what she’s gonna do. She’s gonna cheat.”

Qerim has declared, “We’re gonna start doing bets for everything,” so it’s clear that the shoe wars won’t end with March Madness.

“For the Finals, for the Super Bowl, all of it.”
