Bail has been extended for the third time for a married Everton footballer who was arrested on suspicion of child sex offences.


The Sun can reveal that a married Everton player was granted bail yesterday on suspicion of child sex offenses.

The Premier League star was arrested in July and cannot be named for legal reasons.


“Several items” were seized during a raid on his £2.5 million home by cops.

His bail was extended for the third time to Wednesday next week, according to Greater Manchester Police.

Last year, England’s Fabian Delph, 32, was mistakenly identified as the player in question after false social media messages were circulated.
