In new court documents, Lynne Spears requested that a judge allow Britney Spears to hire her own private lawyer to end her tumultuous conservatorship.
Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears , is backing her daughter in her conservatorship battle. Lynne, 66, requested in court documents obtained by HollywoodLife that Britney, 39, be allowed to hire her own private lawyer, which she is currently unable to do due to her strict conservatorship. Lynne’s lawyer stated that the “Toxic” singer is “able to care for her person” and has been capable of doing so “for many years.” Lynne is currently seeking her own lawyer in order to end her conservatorship. ”
Britney’s demand to be able to hire her own private lawyer or, as an alternative, have the court appoint a lawyer of Britney’s choosing should be prioritized, according to the lawyer. According to the documents, Lynne has requested a hearing on July 14 to likely resolve her daughter’s ongoing legal issues.
