Just days after The Lionesses’ historic Euros victory, ENGLAND legend Jill Scott went back to work at her coffee shop.
The 35-year-old midfielder was crucial in helping England win the Euro 2022 trophy on Sunday.
She made her entrance 20 minutes before Chloe Kelly’s game-winning goal in the record-breaking final against Germany at Wembley Stadium.
She struggled to control her tears as she thanked her teammates and dedicated her victory medal to her grandmother after the final horn.
We got it, grandma, we’ve done it, Scott said in a statement to BBC Sport.
“The younger players are fantastic; they play freely.
There will be a lot of festivities, and I doubt I’ll get much sleep this week.
But it didn’t take long for the former Manchester City star to return to her favorite coffee shop Boxx2Boxx after the celebrations, which went on into the wee hours of Monday morning.
On Friday, Scott tweetedBack to reality, which I adore! Boxx2boxx coffee shop shift completed.
“We appreciate everyone who stopped by to say hello! Your assistance is greatly valued.
