Due to metal strand concerns, Starburst, Skittles, and Life Savers gummies have been recalled.

Due to the possibility of thin metal shards in the candy and the bags, MARS Wrigley recalled several gummy candies.

The gummies were voluntarily recalled in the United States, Canada, and Mexico by the company.

CNN reports that Skittle Gummies, Starburst Gummies, and Life Saver Gummies have all been recalled.

The recall was issued in response to customer complaints, but the company said in a statement that no illnesses or injuries have been linked to the metal strands.

The number of bags of candy affected is unknown, according to Mars Wrigley.

In a statement to CNN Business, a spokesperson for Mars Wrigley Canada said, “We are working closely with our retail partners to remove any potentially impacted products from stores.”
