Mike Tyson has stated that he hit a troll on an airplane while “tired, high, and p***ed off.”
On a flight to San Francisco in April, the former heavyweight boxing champion was seen on camera punching another passenger. Later, Tyson’s team claimed that George Townsend III had repeatedly bothered Iron Mike and had even thrown a water bottle at the 55-year-old.
Due to the complainant’s actions precipitating the altercation, the San Mateo County District Attorney ultimately decided not to press charges against the illustrious boxer. And Tyson has since spoken out about the widely publicized incident while a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.
I’m usually good with these things and stuff, he said. Let’s just say it was his number, I suppose.
“I was mistaken; it should never have happened. That was just me when I was still a privileged child.
“I shouldn’t have done it, but I was agitated, exhausted, intoxicated, and p***ed off. Things happen. I want to avoid hurting anyone.

Since retiring from professional boxing in 2005, the “Baddest Man on the Planet” has built a cannabis empire. He made use of California’s legalization of marijuana for recreational use to build a sizable cannabis farm there.
One of Tyson’s products, which he markets under the name Tyson Holistic, is a clever nod to his well-known ear-biting incident against Evander Holyfield in 1997. The most recent offering is a cannabis edible called “Mike Bites,” which is a cleverly made candy in the shape of an ear with a piece missing.
