Exciting Dance Spectacle Unleashes Viewer Outrage – Reactions Pour In Over Mesmerizing 2023 Launch Show Pairings!

Strictly Come Dancing 2023: Fans Express Disappointment Over Neil Jones’ Lack of Celebrity Partner

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of this year’s pairings, and the show did not disappoint with its reveal during the launch show on Saturday. However, not all viewers were pleased with the results. After the episode aired on BBC One, the show’s official Instagram account shared a clip from the incredible group number, which showcased the celebrities and their dance partners taking to the ballroom floor for the first time. While many viewers expressed their excitement over the newly announced couples, others were disappointed to see that professional dancer Neil Jones wasn’t paired up with a celebrity.

A Concern Among Fans

As the comments section of the Instagram post filled up with reactions, one common sentiment stood out: disappointment over Neil Jones not having a partner again. Fans expressed their disappointment, with one person writing, “Why doesn’t Neil have a partner again! It’s such a shame,” and another adding, “Some amazing pairings, but gutted Neil didn’t get a partner again.” A third fan commented, “Loved it as usual. Just wish Neil had a partner x.”

Neil Jones, 41, has been a part of Strictly Come Dancing since 2016 and has been partnered with a celebrity contestant twice during his tenure on the show. In series 17, he danced with former professional footballer Alex Scott, and in 2021, he was paired with EastEnders star Nina Wadia.

Life Without a Partner on the Show

During his time on the show, Neil Jones has opened up about his experiences whenever he is not paired with a celebrity contestant. In an interview with RadioTimes.com, he revealed, “I would honestly say to you, I love when I have a partner, and I love when I don’t have a partner. When you don’t have a partner, a lot of people think you just sit at home. But you really don’t. On Strictly, they make sure you’ve got plenty to do. We’re doing group numbers and music acts, we help out other pros.”

While Neil may not have a celebrity partner for the 2023 show, he is set to become very busy in his personal life in the coming weeks. The BBC star is expecting his first child with his fiancée, model and former Love Island contestant Chyna Mills. Their due date is just around the corner, and Neil is surely looking forward to embracing fatherhood.

Exciting News for Neil and Chyna

In an exclusive interview with HELLO! back in June, Neil and Chyna shared their excitement about their upcoming arrival. They revealed that they were expecting a baby girl, and the couple made the announcement in a heartwarming video filmed at the London Palladium during the Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour. Neil’s co-stars, including Dianne Buswell, Gorka Marquez, Karen Hauer, and Jowita Przystał, joined in the celebrations.

On preparing for fatherhood, Neil mentioned that his outlook on life has changed. He said, “It’s not just about me anymore – I need to take care of two people. Gorka (Marquez) tells me how great it is. People also keep warning me I won’t get any sleep. As a dancer, I’m used to that!”

While some Strictly Come Dancing fans were disappointed to see Neil Jones without a celebrity partner for the 2023 show, there is no doubt that he will make the most of his time on the program. With upcoming group numbers, music acts, and assisting other professional dancers, Neil will showcase his talent and dedication to the show. As he embarks on fatherhood with his fiancée Chyna Mills, Neil’s life is set to become even more eventful and fulfilling.
