Fans are outraged that Days of our Lives is leaving NBC after 57 years as part of a historic television shake-up.

After 57 years, DAYS of our Lives on NBC has come to an end.

After it was revealed that the long-running soap opera would be leaving its daytime spot on the network in a significant shake-up, fans were incensed.

Days of Our Lives will leave NBC and move to its streaming service, Peacock, according to a report published by Vulture on Wednesday.

Given the average age of its viewers, one disgruntled viewer wrote: “This feels like the absolute last genre of TV I’d move to streaming, but it’s better than canceling it I suppose.”

Another said: “What the absolute f**k?”

A third tweeted, making reference to ABC’s recent decision to move Dancing With the Stars to its streaming service, “This makes as much sense as DWTS moving to Disney+.”

A fourth yelled, “Comcast is killing Days of our Lives in order to make Peacock a thing. Yikes!”
