What does Carrie Ann Inaba think about the pro who left?

Some of the contestants from the previous season of “Dancing With the Stars,” such as Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess, are absent from the new season. Because they both preferred to spend time with their families at home rather than competing, the two moms made the decision to sit out the season.

On season 30, Arnold and Matt James of “The Bachelor” competed. The pair came in at number twelve. Arnold made a sincere Instagram caption on August 31, 2022, about her choice to remain in Utah with her husband and their 1-year-old daughter, Sage.

“I just wanted to let all of you know that I’ve decided not to participate in Dancing With the Stars this season. One of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but in the end I went with what I think is best for my family and me. Since DWTS has been a part of my life for over ten years, I truly do love the program with all of my heart. This program has forever changed my life and has and always will mean the world to me,” Arnold penned.

On September 17, 2022, veteran DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba offered her opinion on Arnold’s choice to leave the competition.

Here’s what you need to know:

Arnold’s return to the program is anticipated by Inaba “in the future.”

Inaba stated that she would like to see Arnold attempt another Mirrorball at some point because “she’s incredible,” despite the fact that Arnold did not specify whether or not she intended to compete on DWTS in subsequent seasons.

Do you miss Lindsay Arnold not being back on DWTS? was a question Inaba was asked during a Q&A she posted on her Instagram Stories.

“Aw, yes. I was disappointed when Lindsay wasn’t included in the cast announcement this year, but I believe she made the decision to spend this season with her family because, as they say, “Once a ‘Dancing With the Stars’ family, always a family,” said Inaba.

She’s amazing, so I really hope she comes back in the future. Lindsay, you’re loved,” she continued.

Arnold May Not Be Done With DWTS

Arnold has participated in numerous seasons of “Dancing With the Stars,” but it has gotten harder for her and her family over time, especially after she and her husband Sam Cusick had a child.

“As you are all aware, my family is my top priority, and taking care of my daughter will always come first on my list. As many of you are aware, my family and I currently reside in Utah. However, in order to compete on DWTS, I must leave Utah with my daughter Sage, my husband Sam, and myself. The logistics of pulling this off are SO complicated, and a lot of sacrifices had to be made that regrettably did not feel right for us this time, wrote Arnold on Instagram.

She admitted to her followers that she and Cusick “exhausted every option” before deciding it wouldn’t work. Although Arnold’s statement had an air of finality, it was also clear that she wasn’t completely abandoning the program.

She wrote that it “doesn’t mean that this is the end for me and DWTS.”
