The HyperX Cloud Alpha isn’t the cheapest gaming headset in this guide, but it’s still very affordable, and the difference in quality between it and the Cloud Stinger is obvious.
As a headset snob, I’ll always go for the more expensive models. This headset, on the other hand, can’t be beat if you want crystal clear audio, comfort, and a good microphone.
The aluminum frame, as well as the leatherette cover over the memory foam padding, give this product a premium feel. It’s also ridiculously comfortable. I’ve played for long periods of time with this headset on, and there’s no pressure build-up in the ears. It still feels as good as the first time you put it on.
Sure, it doesn’t have the same audio quality as the Cloud Revolver, but for a fraction of the cost, this headset is one of the best affordable options available.
