Thankfully, Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling came through with a brand new three-round mock draft just in time. Instead of taking Matt Ryan’s future replacement in the first round, Easterling has Atlanta selecting Texas A&M defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal at No. 8 overall.

After that, Easterling has the Falcons bolstering their defense in the second round with Ohio State defensive end Zach Harrison and Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett with their second pick in round two–––the most intriguing and underrated pick here that we will delve deeper into. Finally, in the third round, Atlanta selects Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams, according to Easterling’s mock draft.
