Jay Briscoe death updates: WWE stars pay homage to the late wrestling legend as the cause of death is revealed


After the tragic passing of professional wrestler Jay Briscoe at the age of 38, TRIBUTES have started to pour in.

On Tuesday, January 17, at around 5.30 p.m., Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, reportedly perished in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware.

Briscoe, a legendary figure in the world of wrestling, co-starred with his brother Mark in ROH for more than 20 years.

The tributes to the legendary wrestler were led by WWE legend Triple H, who praised him as “an incredible performer who created a deep connection with wrestling fans around the world. My sympathies go out to Jay Briscoe’s family and friends.

While Matt Hardy, another WWE superstar, remarked: “Heard this tragic news while flying. The tragic death of Jay Briscoe (Jamin Pugh) today has DEVASTED me. Working with him on numerous occasions was an honor. I admired Jay. Jay was SO authentic. We connected with Jay because we both shared a deep love for his wife and children. I feel terrible for his family.
