Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s transfer to Newcastle is being contested by Real Madrid, PSG, and Napoli, who is seeking a fee of at least £50 million.
According to reports, NEWCASTLE UNITED are competing with Real Madrid and PSG for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli.
With Napoli leading Serie A by 15 points this season, Kvaratskhelia has been in outstanding form, contributing 23 goals in 23 appearances.
The winger, known by his nick name “Kvaradona,” transferred from Georgian club Dinamo Batumi to the Italian club last summer for about £10 million.
Newcastle United is reportedly interested, in addition to European powerhouses Real Madrid, Manchester City, and PSG.
According to the report, Eddie Howe’s team has been linked with a £50 million deal, but Napoli has no desire to sell for even a fraction of that amount.
Although there is “a lot of interest,” according to the agent of the Georgian, the winger is still entirely committed to Napoli.
CalcioNapoli was informed by Mamuka Jugeli that there was significant interest from other clubs.
He then offered assurances to Napoli fans.
“Kvara, however, is only concerned with winning the Scudetto and Napoli’s games in the Champions League,” he continued.
In order to win their first Serie A championship since 1990 and potentially qualify for the Champions League, Napoli will be hoping the player known to fans as Kvaradona keeps up his current form.
