The muscular physique of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake has been featured in an ad campaign for underwear.
But after the Dutchman posted a clip from the shoot online, teammate Ruben Dias wasted no time in mocking him.

Ake, now 28 years old, posted a video of himself to social media in which he was seen donning a pair of Nike briefs.
As he posed in the pants for the camera, his chiseled physique was on full display in the brief clip.
The video was captioned, “First things first #nikeunderwear @nike #teamnike.”
Dias, who plays central defense with him, had an equally hilarious response.

Ake has played in 26 of Man City’s 27 Premier League games this season, starting 17.
He’s proven his adaptability by filling in at left back and center back on numerous occasions.
Although Joao Cancelo’s loan to Bayern Munich in the middle of the season boosted Cancelo’s stature, his continued presence on the team was crucial.

Speaking about Ake back in January, Man City manager Pep Guardiola said: “Nobody talks about Nathan and right now he’s playing beyond our expectations as a left-back.
“As a defender, how good he defends; all his actions with the ball are clever; these kinds of players help to make the others bright like Kevin [De Bruyne] and Erling [Haaland].
“I always pay attention to these types of things.”
