Man Utd gains as key Barcelona player misses Europa League match due to injury

Not included in Barcelona’s lineup to take on Manchester United is OUSMANE DEMBELE.

The LaLiga team will host United at the Nou Camp in the round of 32 of the Europa League without their star player.

Frenkie de Jong, a transfer target for the Red Devils, and Robert Lewandowski are both in Barca’s 22-man squad for the match.

However, Dembele is not present because of a thigh injury keeping him from playing.

At the end of January, the winger was forced from a game against Girona due to an injury.

The fact that he is anticipated to miss the second leg at Old Trafford the following week is a huge advantage for Erik ten Hag’s team.

With eight goals and seven assists across all competitions, Dembele has made an impression this season and played a significant role in Barcelona’s attack.

Xavi, the manager of Barcelona, has substituted Raphinha for him while Gavi plays left wing.

Despite Dembele’s talent, Barca has won three straight matches since he was sidelined, so his absence has not been felt.
