Meet the former NFL star who went from being a forgotten man to the highest-paid player in the XFL.

Brett Hundley, a former star for UCLA, will serve as one of the faces of the redesigned XFL.
Hundley, 29, made his NFL debut in 2015 after the Green Bay Packers selected him in the fifth round.

If it’s game time you’re after, sitting behind a future Hall of Famer like Aaron Rodgers is perhaps an unenviable task, so he only made four appearances off the bench his first two seasons.
However, Hundley had his chance to prove himself after Rodgers broke his collarbone in Week 6 of the 2017 campaign.
In total, he appeared in eleven games that season, starting nine of them.
With 1,836 yards, nine touchdowns, and twelve interceptions, Hundley finished his starting career with a 3-6 record.

He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in August of the following year for a sixth-round pick.
He didn’t play, though, and the following year he moved again, signing with the Arizona Cardinals.
Prior to spending the 2021 season bouncing between the Indianapolis Colts’ active roster and the practice squad, he made three appearances for the Cardinals during a two-year stay at State Farm Stadium.
In 2022, brief stints with the Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, and once more the Ravens followed.
