Mikel Arteta meets with Arsene Wenger to discuss a possible return to Arsenal in a new role.


Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has met with legendary manager Arsene Wenger to discuss a sensational return to the club. Wenger, 72, stepped down as Arsenal manager in 2018 after 22 years as the club’s manager. During his time in charge of the north Londoners, the Frenchman won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups, and reached one Champions League final. Despite his iconic status at the Emirates, he left three years ago after supporters demanded that he leave. Unai Emery, his replacement, was only in charge for 18 months before being replaced by Arteta.
