More nations can now participate in the Shiny Eternatus giveaway for Pokemon Sword & Shield.

A Shiny Eternatus has recently been made available exclusively to Pokemon Sword & Shield players in Europe. Initial announcements of this giveaway of the free alternate-colored Poison/Dragon-type legendary monster targeted only the USA/Canada and Australia/New Zealand. Now, additional players from more nations will be able to take part.

While European fans have only recently been allowed to participate, Asia has had the giveaway for the longest period of time. Is Shiny Eternatus worth it?

The answer is unquestionably yes given that Eternatus is a legendary Pokemon, which are formidable creatures frequently discovered during the endgame or postgame. The catchable variation is shiny-locked, which means it cannot spawn in a color-palette swapped variant, which is what the term “shiny” refers to. This makes the shiny variation the cherry on top.
