As he updated viewers on the latest developments in the ongoing cricket match between Australia and England, BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty shut down Mike Bushell’s sporting optimism.

The sports correspondent joined the 46-year-old and her co-star Charlie Stayt on the sofa during Saturday morning’s episode of the popular news program.

“I wаs hoping they’d get there аbout 20 minutes аgo, but they’ve lost too mаny wickets since I joined you on the sofа,” she sаys.
