25-year-old Kylie wore a custom-made, strapless Maison Margiela gown to the blue after-party carpet.
She tied her hair up in a sleek bun and contoured her features with lots of mascara and taupe lipstick, while wearing a dress with a bow across the bodice and at the back.
In a gold vintage mermaid-style gown by Jean Paul Gaultier, Kendall, 27, looked as beautiful as ever.
The author of a Reddit thread titled “Kim and VF” pondered, “Wondering why she wasn’t there. Has anyone got any suggestions?
I think if anyone asked her, she’d say she stayed home to give others a chance to shine,” said a devoted follower.

The Kardashians star posted a photo of the Alexander McQueen gown she wore to an Oscars afterparty.
Kim shared a pair of vintage photos from 2010 and 2012, both of which featured an ivory Alexander McQueen dress.
The dress had an asymmetrical corset bodice top and fringe to add texture to the full skirt and long length.
Kim’s designer dress clung to her trim waist, emphasizing her already stunning figure.
The reality star wrote in the captions of her posts, “Throwback to this Oscar look – thank you Rita for this iconic Alexander McQueen oyster dress.”
Kim’s dress was photographed again, this time from the back.
The back of the gown was adorned with a long, flowing train that clung closely to her bum.
Kim posted a photo from when she was married to Kanye West, 45, but she made no reference to their divorce.
They were both shocked and frustrated that Kim didn’t mention him, and that she didn’t specify that she was at an Oscars afterparty and not the actual ceremony.
