Ellis Simms scored his first goal for Everton to help them salvage a tie after twice coming from behind.

Shortly after the break, Chelsea took the lead on a goal by Joao Felix, but it didn’t last long. Abdoulaye Doucoure equalized for the Blues by bundling the ball into the net.

Seven minutes later, however, Kai Havertz didn’t lose his composure and calmly buried a penalty to seemingly seal the deal for the West London club.

Stamford Bridge was stunned by a powerful run and finish from substitute Simms in the final seconds.

Following that loss, Chelsea dropped to eighth and was 11 points out of a spot in the top four and a trip to the Champions League.

Boehly, an American billionaire, attended the game and was questioned by a fan on the way to his car afterwards.

Boehly was asked what he thought after seeing the video, and he responded, “S*** f***ing game.”

After the game, manager Graham Potter was also visibly upset.

But unlike his boss, he refrained from using foul language.

He told Match of the Day: “We did a lot well and we are disappointed with the goals we conceded.

We felt like we played well enough to win, but poor defense was the difference in the end.

“Give credit where credit is due, Everton is good at that, but we must improve. This is very disheartening.

A lot went right with the show, but so far we’ve only managed to score a single point.

“Really disappointed because we wanted to win.”
