Despite Prince Andrew’s best efforts to have the case dismissed, a judge has ruled that the Royal will face a civil trial over sexual assault allegations brought by Virginia Giuffre.

The allegations made against the Prince have been categorically denied.

The Duke of York was stripped of his military titles and Royal patronages on Thursday, January 13, 2022, with the Queen’s approval.

“The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to the Queen with the approval and agreement of the Queen,” the Palace said in a statement.

“The Duke of York will continue to refuse to perform any public functions and is defending himself as a private citizen in this case.”
