According to reports, Real Madrid is planning to offer Vinicius Junior a new £8.4 million-a-year contract.
In order to avoid future interest, the improved deal will include a €1 billion release clause.
Vinicius, 21, has had an outstanding season with the Spanish champions and has quickly established himself as one of their most important players.
In 50 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, the Brazilian has scored 21 goals and provided 20 assists.
In the current season, he has more goal involvements than any European player aged 21 or younger.
And his outstanding performances for Real Madrid have been noticed.
The club is expected to offer him a lucrative new contract that will keep him at the Bernabeu until 2028, according to Marca.
And his annual salary of £8.5 million will be a significant increase over his current £2.5 million.
The player and the club are said to be in “very advanced” talks, with Vinicius “desiring to stay” at Madrid.
But the young forwаrd isn’t the only one plаnning to stаy in the Spаnish cаpitаl longer.
