Richard Madeley jokes about Russia, and GMB’s Ranvir Singh responds, asking, “Who cares?”

During the most recent episode of the popular ITV program, presenter Ranvir Singh was compelled to warn co-host Richard Madeley against comparing Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to “Russian dolls.”

The presenters briefly mentioned actor Ben Stiller’s trip to the war-torn Ukraine and his first encounter with Zelenskyy on Tuesday’s (June 21) program.

Journalist Sean Fletcher described the scene in the studio while reminding viewers that the president of Ukraine was also an actor and had previously played a president on television a few years prior.

Richard remarked, “It’s like Russian Dolls,” as he became enthused about the couple’s union.
