Robert Lewandowski’s first offer comes from Barcelona, but it is less than Bayern Munich’s £35 million asking price.

According to reports, BARCELONA has made their first bid for Robert Lewandowski.

However, it’s believed that the bid is below what Bayern Munich is willing to pay for the striker.

The German champions are asking £35 million for their Polish striker, according to ESPN.

Therefore, it appears that this initial attempt will fail.

At the Allianz Arena, Lewandowski, 33, has one year left on his contract.

When he sensationally declared he “doesn’t want to play for Bayern Munich anymore” last month, he sparked a transfer scramble.

His retention and completion of his contract are top priorities for the Bavarians.

But many of the top clubs in Europe are vying for his signature, with Barca leading the pack.

The Spanish goliaths may not have the financial resources to close a deal, given their current problems.
