Robyn discusses Christine’s split from Kody on “Sister Wives,” saying, “It feels wrong.”

In Season 17 of Sister Wives, Christine Brown at last informs her sister wives of her intentions to divorce Kody Brown and relocate to Utah. Robyn Brown, Kody’s fourth wife, is upset by the news and claims that it “feels wrong” to her.

Christine informs her sister wives that Kody is her last stop.

Christine finally admits her decision to leave Kody to her sister wives Meri, Robyn, and Janelle Brown. Christine tells her sister wives about her decision to end her plural marriage to Kody and relocate to Utah with her daughter, Truely Brown, after waiting weeks for the appropriate moment.

Christine is prepared for a fresh start after 27 years of marriage. Sister Wives’ episode from September 25 featured Christine saying that the hardest part of getting divorced from Kody is how long it’s taking her to heal. She can’t wait to start her new life in Utah by herself, away from the rest of the family.

Christine’s choice, according to Robyn, “feels wrong.”

Robyn shares her thoughts on her sister-in-law’s choice with the cameras after their conversation. I’m shocked, she says. Robyn still finds it hard to understand Christine’s choice even though Kody had previously told her about his marital issues with Christine.

Robyn is aware of how devastating a divorce is to a family because she has previously gone through one with her ex-husband, David Jessop. Even ten years later, she says it’s still difficult for her children.

Robyn is devastated when Christine says that she’s not only moving out of the Coyote Pass property but also that she’s not staying there. “I’m still attempting to determine the precise implications for the family. “I feel very… It feels wrong to me that Christine wouldn’t be my sister wife,” she says in the interview.

How Meri and Janelle reacted when they learned of Christine’s separation

Naturally, Janelle is not surprised by this. Since they’ve previously had a few private conversations, Janelle is still finding it difficult to imagine a life without Christine. “Look, I knew this was going to happen intellectually. But now that we are where we are, something had to be known before it could actually occur, Janelle tells the cameras.

The hardest hit by the news was Meri. She thinks that when Christine married Kody, she made a commitment to the whole family as well. She feels betrayed by Christine for breaking that promise and isn’t sure if they can still be sister wives.

Robyn is finding it extremely difficult to accept Christine’s choice. Christine, however, will act in Christine’s and her daughter Truely’s best interests, regardless of how Robyn may feel.

Sundays at 10 p.m., new episodes of Sister Wives Season 17 are broadcast. TLC at EST.
