All-rounder Sam Curran of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has arrived in the UAE for the second phase of the IPL 2021, which begins on September 19. Curran was part of the England squad that recently played India in a five-Test series that was cut short due to a COVID-19 scare in the visitors’ camp. Sam Curran has joined the bio-bubble in the UAE after spending a few days with his family.
CSK greeted the English all-rounder with a photo of him shortly after his arrival, captioning it:

Sam Curran will now spend six days in quarantine at the hotel before joining the CSK squad. The youngster is expected to miss the franchise’s first match in the second phase, which is scheduled for September 19 in Dubai, against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. With 10 points from seven games, the Super Kings аre currently second in the points tаble behind the Delhi Cаpitаls.
