Who was Sonia Rios Risken?

Maria Cahayon and Juanito Gonzales, both of Filipino descent, gave birth to Sonia Rios Risken on August 15, 1946.

Before her death, Risken was married twice, both to military men.

Her second husband, Law “Larry” Risken, was shot in 2006, while her first husband, Earl John Bourdeau, was shot in 1987.

After leaving the US without Risken by their side, both men were reportedly killed in the Philippines.

Even though her two husbands’ deaths occurred decades apart, Risken had been the subject of inquiries.

She eventually acquired the moniker “Lomita Black Widow” as a result of rumors that she may have been involved in the deaths of both her husbands.

What was her cause of death?

Reskin was discovered shot in the head at her LA home on April 28, 2006, despite the fact that the families of the deceased men reportedly claimed she was responsible for both murders.

According to Daily Breeze, two former Navy seamen who killed the hairdresser were sentenced to 26 years to life in prison. This occurred almost five years later.
