Sunderland vs Sheffield Wednesday LIVE: Stream, TV channel, and team news for the League One play-off semi-final – live updates

Too big for League One?
We were watching Sunderland play Premier League football not long ago, with players like Darren Bent, Jermain Defoe, Carlos Edwards, Craig Gordon, and Gus Poyet in charge.
However, they have since dropped to England’s third tier, and current manager Alex Neil gave fans a taste of the harsh reality when asked if the club was too big to be so low down the divisions.
“It is, after all, a League One club.” This part irritates me,” Neil responded via The Northern Echo.
“I keep hearing that we aren’t a League One club.” Sure? You are a member of League One.
“If you’re talking about infrastructure, are the fans’ bases the stadium League One standard?” No, it isn’t.
“But the simple fact is that the club is currently in League One.”
