The first celebrity to appear on the 2023 season of Dancing On Ice is announced on This Morning.

The nation was proudly informed by hosts of This Morning Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby who will be joining them on the Dancing On Ice ice rink for the upcoming season.

The program’s permanent hosts, Holly and Phil, announced the willing celebrity on their chat show This Morning.

Holly and Phil said they could give fans a hint as to who it would be after welcoming viewers to the show, but instead they just displayed a mannequin with a red wig.

As Phillip Schofield’s £1 million account expires, Holly Willoughby signs a “7 figure” deal with M&S.

Holly remarked that the clue “didn’t give away much” as the pair laughed and then they moved on to the rest of the show.

Willoughby and Schofield excitedly announced that Patsy Palmer from EastEnders will be the first contestant in 2023 as the clock struck 12 o’clock.

Holly and Phil couldn't wait to reveal the news

Patsy declared that she wanted to “challenge herself” and “get out of her comfort zone.”

Despite expressing a desire to “skate to some songs she loves,” she expressed skepticism that the Dancing on Ice cast would permit her to do so.

Davide Sanclimenti, a Love Island star, recently disclosed that he declined a chance to compete in the ice skating competition.

Patsy admitted she looked up to Torvill and Dean when she was younger

Davide, who won the dating competition alongside Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, talked about the offer with The Sun.

“They wanted me to do this year, but I declined this time,” the 28-year-old said. I have so much on my plate that I can’t commit to doing something every day, but when I do, I want to do it well. For the time being at least, I simply can’t focus on something like that, but who knows?

Davide hasn’t completely dismissed the idea, so keep an eye out for any potential appearances on the ITV program.

Fans will be happy to hear that the competition will be returning in 2023

After leaving the villa, Sanclimenti signed a contract with the online clothing store boohooMAN and will collaborate with his partner Ekin-Su on an upcoming ITV2 project.

The dynamic duo, who won the competition in 2022 with a massive vote advantage and were a clear fan favorite, will visit each other’s families in Italy and Turkey.

As they spend more time with their partner, they will both become immersed in their respective cultures and learn more about one another.
