The Met Office has pinpointed the exact locations where dense fog will cause “hazards and travel disruption.”

This month, the UK is expected to experience another bitterly cold snap, while dense fog continues to be a nuisance across the country, particularly on roads this morning.

Since 7 p.m. yesterday, the Met Office has issued a yellow fog warning. It will expire today (January 15) at 11 a.m.

The warning extends from the south-central regions of England and London, through much of the Midlands, including Birmingham, and all the way up to Yorkshire and the North East.

“Fog patches leading to some travel disruption,” the Met Office said as part of the alert.
