There are 15 kinds of chips, including pizza-flavored ones, that you can never eat again.

Though there may be countless options for chip flavors, not every one of them can survive indefinitely.
We’ve come a long way, baby, from plain old salted potato chips.

Some of the newer, more interesting flavors combine salty and sweet elements.
Moreover, there have been a plethora of developments in both the cooking process and the ingredients used to make chips.
Target’s avocado oil chip variety has become a popular snack, and chickpea-based chips have also recently entered the market.
Every time a new chip is released, it seems like a bunch of others must be taken off store shelves to make room.

The U.S. Sun selected 15 discontinued chips, some of which will be missed more than others.
1. INDIVIDUALLY HANDPICKED SPICY SOUTHERN SMOKE BBQ KETTLE CHIPS
Despite customers’ claims that the snack was “best on the market,” Kroger discontinued selling it earlier this year.
Twitter user Renee (@renee41961) claimed that she and her relatives had looked for the chips at the Kroger in White House, Tennessee, but had been unsuccessful.
The store expressed regret and explained that they could no longer sell the product.
Those, according to Renee, are the finest bbq chips available. I should have had swatches available in stores.
The taste, I might add, was a hit wherever I took them.
2. 3D DORITOS
The quick return of these extra crunchy pyramid-shaped chips in 2021 raised high expectations among their devoted following.
Unfortunately, they didn’t last long.
The snacks “are just *chef’s kiss*,” as one reviewer put it on Walmart’s website.
Even though they are hard to come by at the moment, you can try to track down a bag by using the Doritos product locator on the website.
3. JACKED BUFFALO RANCH DORITOS

Doritos’ JACKED Ranch Dipped Hot Wings flavor was abruptly taken off the shelves four years ago.
Despite this, a dedicated fanbase rallied to have the tasty treat restored to shelves.
A Change.org petition claims that stores stopped carrying the product due to low demand, but customers disagree.
In an online forum, Doritos loyalists proclaimed, “No other’spicy/hot’ flavor even comes close to comparing!”
I know I can’t be the only person to find these chips irresistible. Help me stock the shelves with these chips again! I long for them.
More than 63,000 people have signed the petition to bring them back, and the movement shows no signs of slowing down even in 2022.
4. SALSA VERDE FLAVORED CORN TORTILLA CHIPS FROM TRADER JOE’S
As previously reported, Salsa Verde flavored tortilla chips have been taken off of Trader Joe’s shelves.
In recent weeks, the retailer has been giving the product away to get rid of surplus inventory.
A supporter commented online, “No way. The finest chip ever!! They can’t just stop doing it!
Trader Joe’s no longer sells their salsa verde tortilla chips. “WE RIDE AT DAWN,” wrote another user on Twitter.
5. ARCHER FARMS BUFFALO WING POTATO CHIPS
Unfortunately, Target no longer carries Archer Farms products, including these scrumptious chips.
While hot wings flavored Ruffles come close, not all Target customers are pleased with this option.
On Reddit, one customer mourned the discontinued Target product by asking, “Anyone still miss Archer Farms. Good and Gather are often viewed as synonymous, but they are not.
6. LAY’S WAVY FRIED GREEN TOMATOES
These chips were promoted as part of a joint effort with the TV show The Voice, which features a singing competition.
Fans from all over the country submit their own original flavor ideas for consideration in the “Do Us A Flavor” campaign.
Even though the “use by” date is 2021, you can still buy a bag on eBay for an exorbitant $150 if you’re determined to give them a try.
7. TRADER JOE’S KETCHUP SPUD CRUNCHIES

These weren’t your typical chips.
Curious customers were drawn in by the novel french fry shape and ketchup flavor, but the snack was eventually phased out in 2019 due to low sales.
The Lay’s ketchup-flavored chips selling for a whopping $13 a bag on Amazon might satisfy your craving.
8. CHEETOS SALSA CON QUESO
Cheetos come in so many flavors and textures—crunchy, puffy, spicy—that you’ll never grow tired of them.
The salsa con queso flavor elevated the already cheesy snack with hints of spice, lime, and tomatoes.
9. GUACAMOLE DORITOS
The amazing avocado flavor of these chips rendered a dip unnecessary.
When they were first introduced to one another in 2003, it seemed like a match made in heaven.
They were only available for three short years before being pulled from shelves in 2006.
10. SWEET AND SPICY BBQ SUN CHIPS
Lay’s put in a lot of effort when they came out with their new take on the traditional barbecue chip.
To temper the heat of the barbeque flavor, the whole grain snack was sweetened with molasses, brown sugar, and honey.
11. LAY’S CHEDDAR BACON MAC AND CHEESE
Macaroni and cheese is already a great comfort food, but Lay’s added bacon to make these even better.
This flavor, alas, was only available for a short time in 2019.
When the last fan bought a bag, it was never seen again.
Make this macaroni and cheese with a potato chip crust at home to experience a mashup of flavors.
12. CAPE COD BACK BAY CRAB SEASONING
The addition of this flavor to the already incredibly crunchy chips took them to the next level.
This tasty treat also had a surprising spicy kick, making it ideal for seafood lovers who live in landlocked areas or anyone looking to try something new.
13. CLANCY’S LIMON CHIPS
With just a squeeze of lime, these chips went from blah to delicious.
Although Clancy’s is no longer selling the flavor, many other companies do.
You can get your hands on Lay’s Limón chips at Target, Tostio’s Hint of Lime at Safeway, and Walmart’s Great Value brand.
14. PIZZARIAS
Despite their Doritos-like appearance, these chips tasted more like a hot pizza slice.
These chips, manufactured by Keebler, weren’t made with potatoes at all, but with pizza dough.
In the 1980s, they stopped making them in a number of popular pizza flavors.
15. KROGER KETTLE COOKED CUBAN SANDWICH CHIPS
The removal of these chips from Kroger’s shelves was a further blow to the retailer’s snack selection.
A shopper, known as Lisa (@Lisamw912), he went to a Kroger and asked if the shop’s own brand of Cuban-flavored kettle chips were still available.
She admitted that she had spent months seeking out the item.
Although Kroger has informed customers that the item is “unavailable” at the moment, they have been kept in the dark about why this is the case.
They went on to say, “We don’t know for sure if it’ll come back. We’ll let the product teams know that you want them to bring the product back.
