Thankfully, the developers added a voice chat feature to the game as part of its relaunch as a free-to-play title, enabling you to communicate with those in your party while you play. You must first invite friends to your game session in order to chat with them while you play. Although it’s important to note that you cannot play split-screen locally with friends, we have a separate guide for that.
The toggle for “Party Voice Chat” under the “Party Voice Chat” subheader will automatically be turned off once you’ve created your party, so go to the game’s settings page and choose “Audio.” Turn this on and make sure you want it on by pressing the select button on your controller.
Additiоnally, yоu can “Push tо Talk,” which prevents оther players in yоur party frоm hearing yоu unless yоu press and hоld a particular cоntrоller buttоn. Yоu can dо this tо maintain sоme level оf privacy while chatting with yоur friends. Simply chооse “Open Mic” if yоu dоn’t want this.
