Tyias Browning, a former Everton player, has relocated to China and is now known as Jiang Guangtai.
The former Toffees defender has assimilated into the Asian culture, changing his name and even representing the country at international level.
He was loaned out to Wigan Athletic, Preston North End, and Sunderland during his time on Merseyside.
Guangtai was transferred from the Premier League to Guangzhou Evergrande for an undisclosed fee on February 20, 2019, in a more dramatic move.
Despite having played for England at the under-17, under-19, and under-21 levels, the 27-year-old has chosen to represent China and has already received his first call-up to the national team in 2020, owing to his mother’s Chinese grandfather.
