Tyson Fury claims he drank “two pints” before his first fight with Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury has revealed that he drank a couple of pints before his first fight with Deontay Wilder in 2018.

The world heavyweight champion is currently training his younger brother Tommy in preparation for his upcoming fight with former YouTuber Jake Paul.

When asked about his training methods, Fury stated that a few drinks are fine, and that he is encouraging his brother to believe the same.

According to the Gypsy King, drinking “relaxes you” and teaches fighters to be less strict with themselves.

“When you’re in training camp, [drinking] relaxes you and teaches you not to be so strict. It teaches you to unwind and enjoy yourself, and that is what it is all about,” Fury explained.
