On the morning of February 23, 2020, Ahmaud Arbery was out running in Brunswick, Georgia. Gregory McMichael and his 35-year-old son Travis armed themselves and chased down Arbery in a pick-up truck. Travis then went on to shoot Arbery, killing him.
