Regarding her health, what has Alissa Carlson previously said?

Before this, in 2014, Alissa Carlson had told the story of how she had overcome a heart condition involving a leaky valve.

After being sick on air at another network, she learned of her condition.

A 2018 interview with Alissa revealed that she had been told the valve would need to be replaced. There was no way to predict when it would break.

Her condition may or may not be related to the medical episode that occurred during the live broadcast on March 18, 2023.
