A more sophisticated version of Margot Robbie’s Barbie appearance is her white suit.

At the Wall Street Journal Magazine’s 2022 Innovator Awards on Wednesday night, Margot Robbie made a striking entrance. At the celebrity-studded event held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, she flaunted a stylish suit. (Hailey Bieber, Karlie Kloss, and Kate Moss were also present and looked absolutely fab.)

The Australian actress wore an outfit from Proenza Schouler’s spring 2023 collection, layering a white tuxedo jacket with gold buttons over a black shirt with lace sleeves and a pair of matching flare pants. With a black clutch and silky satin platform mules, she accessorized the opulent, ’70s-inspired ensemble.

I was immediately brought back to mind of the viral hot pink suit she was spotted wearing during the filming of the upcoming Barbie movie in June, even without the bleach blonde extensions and starry embellishments. Her cream-colored suit also included trousers with dramatic flare bottoms giving off that groovy, disco look (the cowgirl-inspired ensemble will forever be imprinted on my brain).

Essentially, Robbie’s Proenza Schouler outfit in black and white is a more sophisticated version of her vibrant fuchsia ensemble. Perhaps she was inspired by the eccentric costume, whether on purpose or accidentally. In any case, your girl ruined this moment on the red carpet.
