After police issued an amber alert, four missing children who had been taken from their home were discovered ALIVE.


Four children who were kidnapped by a man on August 11, 2022, from a property in central Queensland, Australia, have been found alive.

The children, ages 8, 7, 4, and 3, were taken from their home outside of Mackay on Thursday evening, prompting the Queensland police to issue an amber alert. The children have been located and are now safe and sound, according to the police. Joshua Carter, 28, abducted the kids who were found by the police close to The Leap around 11.30 a.m. The four kids, according to the officers, are all white, skinny, and have brown hair.

The police said they believed they may be “at significant risk” when they issued the amber alert. According to a police statement, the three girls, ages 3, 7, and 8, and the boy, age 4, who had been missing for almost 24 hours, were brought back to their home at around 9.20 am on Friday.
