Brian Laundrie’s father refuses to let cops talk to his son in the Gabby Petito case.

Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of missing travel vlogger Gabby Petito, has been sequestered since they returned from their national parks tour to their home in North Port, Florida. He has also remained silent about her whereabouts, and now his father is ensuring that the police do not have access to his son while they search the couple’s 2012 Ford Transit van for clues to her disappearance. Petito, 22, is a native of Blue Point, New York, and was last seen on August 24 in Salt Lake City, Utah, checking out of a hotel with boyfriend Brian Laundrie. The next day, she called her family to inform them that she and Laundrie had traveled to Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. Her most recent Instagram post, dated August 25, shows her visiting the Monarch Wall in Ogden, Utah, with the caption ‘Happy Halloween.’ The couple intended to visit Yellowstone National Park, which is located just north of Grand Teton, but never made it.
